NO SEW BRACELET OR HAIR TWISTYThis Fabric Strips Bracelet is such kid friendly scrap eater project you're sure to make many. I use mine for pony tail twisties as well. I've made various styles to go with my ever changing moods wardrobe! Tie strips of fabric around a hair elestic or use wide elestic strip (used in sewing garments). Can be whimsy or sophisticated depending on the fabric . Sew button on the ends of a couple or string a wooden bead or 2 thru the end of one of the strips maybe?
"BIB" KNECKLACE"Bib" necklaces have a rather infantile name, but celebrities and tastemakers alike are going ga-ga for this decidedly grown-up accessory: the bib necklace. Grab your buttons n' scraps and make this funky accessory.
TOILET PAPER ROLL WALL ARTThis toilet paper roll wall art project is surprisingly elegant and highly versitile. There's many samples on google images to inspire you or the kids you know. Paint them to suit any decor. Check out this wrought iron sample if you doubt it can look chic.
TEA LIGHT ROCK AND FELTED SWEATER PINCUCHIONBrillint idea. How many stupid tea light containers do you have? Cut a 5.5" circle from a felted sweater, use a drawsting stitch and sew about 1/4" around inside edge of circle, pull almost closed to make a ball, stuff and insert into hole, glue in place where candle would go. Adorn as you like. Love it!
